Congratulations to our Latina Empowerment Recipients
Effective 2023, HWNT is starting the Latina Empowerment Scholarship to create opportunities for women to overcome obstacles by providing financial scholarships for members of HWNT to reach their career, educational, and/or personal goals.
In an effort to promote the public, corporate and civic engagement of the membership, HWNT is establishing a partnership with Tito’s Handmade Vodka for an annual distribution of funds for professional development, personal advancement, career advancement and leadership opportunities for its membership.
HWNT will be providing leadership scholarships based on funding availability that is equal to 1/3rd of the program cost to be part of any established leadership program across the state for the next program year. The applicant must demonstrate an ability to fundraise for a third of the program cost and provide proof of application for a scholarship through the program.
